Busy and Fun Few Days

To say that we have been busy for the last week is a giant understatement!  Daddy was in Las Vegas for work meetings all of last week, and there will be a few pictures to post from his trip soon.  We kept ourselves busy with school, flu shots, tons of activities, crafts, baseball practice, pottying, and so many other fun things.  I told the boys in the car on Friday evening that a cold front was moving through during the night, and in typical 2 1/2 year old fashion, Beau replied that it was not a cold front but a cold back that was coming through.  Seriously!!!!!!!!!  Sunday morning we wore the warmest clothing we could find to Sunday School.  We are in desperate need of fall clothes because everyone's pants were too short, Linc's shoes were too small, and Beau had on sandals with socks underneath!  So sad!  Luckily they were happy to give sweet smiles!

After a yummy brunch at Cindi's and a nice nap, all of the boys piled up on the couch in Daddy's office to watch the Cowboys game.  That is one full couch!
The weather has warmed a bit so the afternoons are nice.  After dinner on Monday we spent a lot of time outside.  We did some swinging, bubbles, and lots of water gun fights!

Mommy made caramel chocolate apples as teacher gifts and saved a few for us to enjoy.  Everyone loved the special treat . . . and Beau considered it his reward for going two days with no potty accidents!!!
We are loving being so busy and having so much fun.  I am so thankful that Beau has decided that potty training is great, and he always lets me know when he needs to go.  His teacher sent me a video from her iPad on Monday of him talking about how proud he was to go in the potty.  So sweet!!  We can have lots of fun outside play time and plenty of fun treats when the boys are being so great.  In spite of being so busy, we have also made a million crafts, constructed several forts, raced cars down our new ramp, played hide and seek, and played dress up in our new Halloween costumes endlessly!  The costumes might not be wearable by Halloween, but we sure are getting our money's worth!!
