After such a fun and busy Friday, we continued on with a fun and busy weekend. Lincoln's T-Ball team had a game on Saturday that was very fun. They warmed up with a little fielding practice before the game, and Lincoln #7 was ready!!!
One of the snack Moms had brought mini Gatorade drinks for the guys after a recent game, and Lincoln thought it was super cool. He's never had Gatorade but thinks the commercials are neat because they feature people taking off like rocket ships or maybe just pictures of rocket ships or something when someone drinks Gatorade. Anyway, we brought him a Gatorade after his warm up. He was so surprised, but then he got a little concerned. He said, "Mommy, if this drink gives me super rocket ship powers, is it like I'm cheating in the game!" Drink it up, buddy!
We finished off Saturday with lots of playing and a fun dinner on the patio at Shady's. Sunday morning was Sunday School, and Lincoln got to play with his buddy Jackson and Beau! (Beau doesn't often crash Lincoln's class, but he loves to join the big boys!)
After brunch, we headed to Nana and Pops house to work on the golf cart. Pops and Daddy changed 6 giant batteries and nursed it to the gas station to air up the tires. Lincoln was super happy to ride along, and Beau stayed to play at the house. Once the golf cart was ready to go, Daddy took the boys for a spin around the neighborhood. They loved it!!!
Lincoln and Beau requested a baking project in the afternoon, so we made chocolate cupcakes with butter cream frosting and strawberries for decoration. They super loved them!!
It was definitely a fun weekend, and we were busy as usual. This week will be full of activities, both at school and at home. Never a dull moment around here!
