What a difference a day makes! Last night it was 70 degrees and a little muggy . . . and we woke to 34 degrees with a cold rain!!! We all bundled up for school, but stripped down to our swim suits for fun swimming lessons in the afternoon. Luckily, the boys had a warm heated indoor pool to practice their strokes! They were both swimming in top form, and their teachers were so proud of their effort!
The boys got all dried off and dressed in their warm clothes to head to Friday Night Dinner at Anamia's. After a yummy dinner, we decided to replace our normal Slurpee treat with a Starbucks Hot Chocolate! Two super excited boys couldn't wait! Luckily we hit up the Starbucks with a drive-thru, and the hot chocolates were cool by the time we got home. They were so proud of their cool new treats! Linc has tried hot chocolate at home a few times, but it was his first Starbucks trip. Beau hasn't had hot chocolate before, nor has he ever been to Starbucks so it was a double first for him! It was definitely a success!!! We will probably make a lot of Starbucks trips this winter because this stuff is yummy!
After we drank our yummy hot chocolate, it was time to try on our new warm pjs. Minnie has sent us some, and Nana picked up some too. The boys looked so cute in their new warm duds. As soon as Auntie sees this, she'll get to sewing some super special pjs for them. Auntie pjs are the best!!!
Pjs came off and went into the washing machine, and the boys decided to play in their underwear on this freezing night! To go with their hot chocolate, they had to have ice cream with Daddy. What?!?!
I can't even imagine a crazier Friday evening . . . suddenly freezing temperatures, swimming lessons, first Starbucks hot chocolates, warm pjs, and ice cream in underwear! These two keep everyone on their toes, that's for sure.
