Last Day of 1st Grade - Lincoln

6-2-16
The last day of 1st grade!!!  Lincoln had such a great year with Ms. McPherson, and it's no lie that she's just the best.  She made it such a fun year, and he totally loves her.  (And Beau can't wait until he gets to go to 1st grade and be in her class.)  He's grown so much this year in so many ways.
It was a fun party day, and these boys were living it up.  Wild pizza party in the class with some happy kids!
Literally, they were going wild!  Sit on your friends . . . ok!  These four will never be in the same class again because they would be all over each other all the time, but it was an exciting year with besties.
Final class picture!
Just for comparison - this is Lincoln on the first day of 1st grade!
For real, there are no words to describe how much we loved Ms. McPherson.  She made school fun and entertaining, gave them new experiences on field trips, and exposed them to more serious learning than Kindergarten.  Looking back, 1st grade was a breeze, but it was the first exposure to homework and spelling tests and reading assignments.  However easy those may seem now, it was an adjustment, and she guided us all through it with her usual calm and cool demeanor.  We'll miss Ms. McPherson for sure!
