Super Tuesday

Tuesday was a BUSY day!  We were home from work and school and got started on our day early.  The boys raced into their dentist appointments with glee!  Lincoln had been telling Beau all about visiting the dentist, and Beau was ready for his first time.  Luckily they had a super great check-up and NO CAVITIES!  We love Dr. Bob, and his office is so much fun!
After lunch, we had our yearly well visit with Dr. K.  Beau demanded a wardrobe change because he noticed that they were dressed all wrong in the morning.  Beau's favorite color is green, and Lincoln's favorite color is blue.  Crazy Mommy dressed Beau in blue and Lincoln in green . . . such a mistake!  They got to pick out their new outfits before we left in the afternoon, and Lincoln didn't follow the favorite color trend.  Either way, they looked cute!  They were having so much fun with the nurse and Dr. K, and they checked out great!  So blessed to have such sweet, smart, and healthy boys!
We spent the rest of the afternoon preparing our gifts for Teacher Appreciation week.  Our teachers got gift cards to their favorite stores, a cute gift and note, and a platter of chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels.  We love our teachers!!!
While we were shopping for our teacher gifts, the boys convinced me that we needed to get tennis rackets.  They are so excited that we just joined our local country club, and they can't wait to begin playing on the tennis courts.  A real bonus is that they have indoor courts so we can enjoy playing tennis even when it's 100 degrees outside!
After dinner, we had a practice session in the backyard.  Two future tennis pros, right?  (Yes, they changed into their Minion shirts.  Thanks, Ally!  I have to beg them to wear something other than Komen, Minion, or Ketchup shirts.)
Lincoln did pretty well for his first attempt at tennis, considering that Mommy was his teacher.  I was in single digits when I had my last tennis lesson, so there wasn't a lot of expertise being shared!  He did get the part about tossing it up appropriately and swinging horizontally to make contact.  We used the fence as our backboard, but he didn't get much relay action.  Love his face!
Beau had tons of excitement about tennis, but he wasn't interested in a lesson from Mommy.  He just ran around swinging his racket like crazy and looking super cute!
Such a busy and fun day with two sweet boys!
