Games and Recycling

April brings lots of things . . . getting back to normal after lots of birthday celebrations (Beau, Minnie, Bubbles, and Lincoln), enjoying the spring weather, celebrating Earth Month (it's not just one day anymore!), and getting ready for Easter.  The boys have had fun playing one of Lincoln's new games, Hedbanz!  They don't get to see the card on their headband, and they have to ask each other questions and give clues about what the picture is.  This game is so fun!
Lincoln's teacher asked if we could help out with their Earth Month efforts and provide a recycle box.  Well, ask and you shall receive!  Nana helped Lincoln create a super great recycle box, and they had so much fun painting the box and thinking of recycle items that they could glue on.
We added a few extra items with our glue gun and the box was complete!  Ms. Dorletha was thrilled with the finished product, and Lincoln was so proud of his efforts.  The kids in Pre-K have really gotten into the recycling spirit and are filling up the box with the appropriate items.
Lincoln and Beau are super good at recycling because they understand what goes into the regular trash and what goes into the recycle box.  We are definitely saving the world one paper towel, plastic bottle, juice box, cereal box, etc at a time.  We are proud that at the end of the week, our trash can has less than our recycle can.
