After a super busy Saturday, we needed a regular Sunday of just normal activities. Of course, church was first. Lincoln happily went off to Sunday School, and Beau was so good in big church. He gave the offering, went to Children's Time, colored and read books, and even spent a few moments sitting with Daddy. They were bonding over their love of hand sanitizer! Beau couldn't wait to show Daddy that he found it in his church bag.
We went to Cindi's for brunch after church, and it was a splitting kind of day. Daddy and I split an omelet, hash browns and a biscuit with gravy, and the boys split an egg, bacon and mini pancakes. Beau was very sure that he needed ketchup on his plate . . . what?!?! He dipped each bite of his breakfast in the ketchup much to the disgust of the rest of our table. Oh, well! I would never imagine that a pancake covered in ketchup would be yummy, but Beau assured us all that it was the best!
Mommy made a run to Central Market and Tom Tom while the boys played at home with Daddy and watched football. We all settled in for naps . . . until one sneaky napper stole my phone and took a picture of me sleeping and of his proud self!!! That Lincoln is a mess!
The boys helped me make a yummy lasagna for dinner, and we got ready to cheer for the Cowboys. Since the game wasn't going so well, Daddy made paper airplanes for the boys. Score!!! Paper airplane wars are so fun!
It wasn't all smiles and giggles on this Sunday, and Mommy and Daddy broke up several fights between the boys. When they are getting along, it's great . . . when they aren't, it's not so great! At the end of the day they really do love each other, and that's what matters. It's just hard to get along with your brother all of the time!!!!
