One last Sunday afternoon at the pool before it closed for the season . . . two cuties in pretty cold water! We have had so many fun times, made so many silly memories, practiced our swimming lesson drills, and used every opportunity to visit the pool this summer. It truly is a summer that this Mommy will never forget, and Lincoln and Beau have had the best time!!
The water was a little cool (it was late September) but ok when the sun was out. When a giant cloud arrived and brought a cool breeze and threat of a shower, it was too chilly to swim anymore. Bubbles to the rescue!!! (Literally, because Bubbles had given the boys Ninja Turtles bubble sets recently.) They chased the bubbles around like crazy!
Our last time leaving the pool was a little sad. We said, "Thanks for a great summer," to the lifeguards.
Daddy was playing golf, but we grabbed a cart and drove to Nana and Pops house to play for a bit. The boys love a golf cart ride. We met back for a delicious dinner before heading home to watch the Dallas Cowboys WIN!!! Super fun day!
We made time on Tuesday night for some bike riding practice at Bowie. Beau decided he needed to work on his scooter skills, so we loaded up the scooter too. The back of the Acadia needs some cleaning and organization these days. (Perhaps the pool stuff can go!)
Both boys did a great job with their riding and scooting, and it's great to just be outside playing when it's not crazy hot! Fun stuff is on the agenda for the rest of the week/weekend. Lots of pics for sure!
