We all were ready to get back to normal after the crazy bugs on Friday night. Daddy helped us out on Saturday morning then returned to the lake with his high school buddies. Super fun lunch date at Mommy's Carmine's with these two silly guys! We share two slices of pepperoni pizza and a salad. Best lunch date ever!
The pool at the club STILL WASN'T OPEN so we met Nana and Pops at Pinstack in Plano for some arcade fun. The boys got serious right away with the Transformers shooting game.
The played so many arcade games, plenty of skeet ball, several baseball tossing games, and then they stopped for a picture in the photo booth!
We waited in a short line for bumper cars, and it ended with mixed results. Lincoln headed to his bumper car with a smile, and Beau was just an inch or two too short (even though he was on his tip toes) to drive a bumper car. We all cheered Lincoln on, and he had fun!
The boys are always asking if they can play the grabber machine at grocery stores/pizza places/etc, and it's always a no! Beau ran to this super cool freezer grabber machine and swiped his card right away. As luck would have it, he won a Ben and Jerry's Double Chocolate Brownie single serve ice cream cup! He was so proud!
"Mom, I'm done playing games. Can you just get me a spoon to eat my ice cream?" Lincoln continued playing while Beau savored each bite of his prized ice cream.
While Mommy was taking with Nana and Pops out front before we left, Lincoln climbed onto the outside logo "bowling pins" and did some awesome push-ups! So strong!
Mommy got a text from the tennis group: "Do y'all want to meet at the club for dinner?" Umm, yes!!! The kids had so much fun playing together, and the parents did too!
After dinner, we cleaned up at home and watched a movie on the couch (because we are still a little wary of going in the now de-infested bug room). Daddy was having a fun dinner with his buddies back at the lake, and they had a group selfie!
It's been wild, but lots of fun! Weekends filled with friends, old or new, under 10 or mid-30s, are the best ever!
