Super busy Saturday started with a few minutes of brother snuggling in Lincoln's bed. Beau really cherished the short time to hang with Linc before we got ready for a crazy fun day!
Katie came over to hang out with Beau at home while we took Lincoln to a Kindergarten classmate's birthday party at the jump place. He had so much fun bouncing with his friends!
Lincoln and Ben took a jump break to play a little air hockey! They had so much fun and laughed a ton!
After a quick lunch, we all went to Lincoln's soccer game. It was fun, we won, and Daddy and Beau looked cute watching the game!
After a short rest, we were so happy to go to West's 5th birthday party. West was a super fun teammate on our spring White Sox T-Ball team and summer Tornadoes soccer team, and we loved hanging out with him and a few of our other old teammates. Lincoln and Beau posed with Nick . . . we have loved being in T-Ball and soccer (both summer and fall) and Kindergarten PACE with Nick. Fun guys!
Spiderman made a surprise appearance at the party, and all the boys were completely amazed! They were hanging on his every word!
Spiderman lead them in a silly hat game, and the boys were super silly and excited to pose with their crazy hats!
Spiderman also had them do some super hero drills, and he high-fived Lincoln after his turn! So cool!
Spiderman gave Beau lots of encouragement during his training run, and Beau really took it seriously. Thanks for helping out the younger guy, Spiderman. Beau even gave him a high five at the end, too.
The kids took a break for pizza and cake, and everyone went back to play . . . except the birthday boy. West really savored each bite of birthday cake and looked so sweet finishing up his cake by himself.
Beau and Ellie (Nick's sister that is Beau's same age) played in the little house in the backyard for a while. They are both a little shy to each other at first, but I'm glad they got into playing together.
Some "bad guys" arrived and the kids sprayed them with silly string, and it was hilarious!!!! A few older neighbor kids took on the role of bad guy, and they were totally game. The kids loved attacking them!!!
We met Nana and Pops for dinner after a super fun day. We thought the kids would crash early, but they proved us wrong! Sunday morning was pretty relaxed, and then we went to lunch at the club. The Cowboys had the noon game, so the boys wore their Romo jerseys. Only two of my three guys would cooperate when asked for a picture walking into lunch . . . the other was just showing us the back of the jersey, right?
After lots of shopping for boys jeans, pumpkins, plants, and groceries, the boys went for an acorn walk to collect more decorations for our fall display. Luckily, the Cowboys pulled out a win while we were shopping!
Daddy and Pops played some gold, and we all met back at the club for dinner. We finished our decorating and got ready for a new week. Such a great weekend filled with lots of fun activities and great friends.
