Lincoln's T-Ball game was early on Saturday morning, and the boys played great. We handily beat the team from Lake Highlands (that Corby from The Ticket radio station has a kid on the team)! Some of the dads on our team were a little excited that a local celebrity was there, and maybe every single dad had to sneak an iPhone pic of him! Go White Sox! Lincoln had a great game. He hit off the tee a time or two, but Coach Wes had him hit from coach pitch later and it was a giant hit!!! Go Lincoln!
The best part of each game for Lincoln is the high fives - he loves it and has the biggest smile while saying "good game" over and over.
Mommy and Pop Pop made a quick run to the donut shop a few blocks away during the game to surprise the boys with a treat after the game. 12 players, 6 siblings, 96 donut holes, 16 juice boxes, 3 Gatorades . . . a lot of happy kids at 10:30 in the morning! I don't know when Lincoln got to look so old, but Kevin and I can't stop looking at how big he looks. Tall, skinny, and snaggle-toothed . . . perfect!
We did some major Father's Day shopping after the game. It was wonderful to pick up gifts for Daddy, Bubbles, and Pop Pop all in the same shopping spot in less than 30 minutes! Seriously, I can't even express how easy that was! After a lot of Legos, puzzles, crazy fort building, and a movie (Despicable Me 2), we headed to dinner. The wind was crazy blowing the boys hair on the way inside.
After fajitas and quesadillas at Mena's, Daddy took us up to a fun outdoor park/shopping/restaurant area in Plano. We had fun listening to the band, and the boys did a little dancing!
Daddy went into a little shop to get some new Ray Bans, and the boys wanted to wander around. We found a children's tree house to climb, and we loved the view to watch the band.
We explored under the tree house and checked out the little creek and climbed on some tree stumps to the next level.
Who doesn't love a tunnel . . . . so much fun!
Daddy picked out some super cool sunglasses and met us to explore the rest of the shopping. So many cool shops, but our favorite was the chocolate shop. For the record, we got two chocolates with caramel, two chocolates with peanut butter, and two solid milk chocolates. It was a delicious end to a super fun day!!!
This Saturday was too much fun!
