Beau has been a bit of a handful at bedtime for a few nights. He's constantly opening his door and checking out what's going on. He also likes to call Mommy or Daddy to say good night three times. He had earned the right to keep his lamp on for a while after lights out, but he isn't actually handling that very well . . . those privileges might be revoked! On Monday night, he came out of his room 4 times with really random excuses. So the privilege of the lamp was lost, and he took his protest seriously. He decided to go to sleep on the floor at the door! That might not have been so bad, but he had his head on the hinge side of the door, and the door wouldn't open to go in and check on him without smashing his head!!!!! After getting the door open about 5 inches, tickling feet, and the flash of the camera, he finally woke up enough to scoot back. Luckily, he was so tired from all of his staying awake efforts that he crashed in the bed.
The boys were happy to get dressed in their Mommy selected outfits for school on Tuesday morning without a fight. Hooray! As we made breakfast they asked what was on the school schedule for the day . . . Jersey Day! So we changed shirts super fast and two little Tony Romos had a great time at school with the worst shorts combination ever!
When the "Lincoln's First Golf" post went up, somehow this picture didn't upload. It's the most precious picture EVER of Lincoln and Daddy sharing a few sweet hours on a lifetime hobby.
Beau's bedtime habits didn't get any better on Tuesday evening, but there is no photographic evidence to prove it. Let's just say that he doesn't take bedtime very seriously right now. Perhaps that's why he fell asleep in the stroller on our 3 mile run this afternoon . . .
