Last Monday of Kindergarten, and it was a pleasure to join this sweet boy for lunch! Happiest guy in the world!
Lincoln has lost 3 teeth on the bottom, but he has had a crazy loose top tooth for a bit. It was kind of affecting dinner/biting/chewing, so it was getting really loose. After brushing his teeth (and baths), Lincoln spent some time wiggling it in front of the bathroom mirror to see it he could get it out.
Side note: Those three bottom teeth that Lincoln has lost have been pulled by Lincoln. No drama, no tears, no pain, and he loved it.
Twenty minutes later, he had wiggled the tooth so much that it was horizontal in his mouth and hanging on by one little string/root. Mommy asked to check on it, and before anyone knew what was happening she pulled the tooth out!!! (Truth: Mommy was a little worried that it was soooo loose that it would come out while he was sleeping, so immediate action was taken!) Lincoln was surprised and wanted to say that it hurt, but it happened too fast. He has the CUTEST snaggle-tooth smile! So proud to pose at 9:00 at night with his sweet smile.
Lincoln immediately needed to write the Tooth Fairy a letter asking to her to leave his tooth but still bring him a little gift. Luckily, the Tooth Fairy is prepared for late night tooth pulling. She left him his tooth, a dollar, and a Ninja Turtles glow stick.
He was beside himself when he discovered his gift from the Tooth Fairy in the morning, and he was so proud to tell his friends and teachers at school about losing his top tooth. After dinner, these two helmet-clad kiddos rode through the neighborhood with glee!
