New Year's Eve and the Beginning of 2015

It's New Year's Eve, and we are having a Kuhlman party!!!  We went to dinner and headed home to watch a few movies before it was time to celebrate.  This is the first year that the boys get to participate in the festivities, but they have gotten really good at staying up late over the break.  When the East Coast counted down and dropped the ball in NYC, the boys donned party hats and blew their noise makers like everyone in Times Square!!
We had blown up a few dozen balloons and they loved tossing those around.  They weren't exactly sure what they were celebrating, but it seemed really fun!  And loud!
Their little plastic champagne glasses were filled with sugar free lemonade, and they loved to "cheers"!!
Beau REALLY loved his drink and chugged it like a champ!!!!  New Years Eve is super fun!
The boys were hard to settle down after such a fun 11:00 PM celebration, and thankfully they slept late on Thursday.  We had the Robisons and Katsoulis' over for playtime and dinner on New Years Day, and everyone had a blast.  Of course, Lincoln and Nick had fun.  They are really best buddies!  Ellie and Beau have really warmed up to each other and made a great relationship over the last few months.  They are in the same boat being little siblings, but they can hold their own too.  So sweet after 4 hours of playing ball, hide and seek, and wrestling, then they settled down together to watch a bit of a movie.  Baby Jackson is in the background . . . he was involved in all of the big kids games!  It was a great way to welcome in the new year.  As a bonus (even though there is no photographic evidence), Ally was in town to spend New Year's Eve with friends and stayed with us on Thursday afternoon and night.  Such a fun day!
Mommy had to go back to work on Friday . . . WHAT?!?!?!  It was miserable, and Mommy really missed hanging out with two kids that are super fun.  The boys spent the day with Nana and Pops, and they definitely did not miss Mommy.  They just had fun with trains, blocks, crafts, games, and a field trip to the bookstore.
The third day of 2015 began with Mommy taking Lincoln to Leo's birthday party, one of his Kindergarten classmates.  Beau hung out with Nana while Daddy and Pop Pop enjoyed one last day of golf (for a week or two) before the cold moves in.  After the birthday party, we picked up Beau and went on a nature walk (picking up acorns and leaves) around the neighborhood in our Razorback hoodies (thanks Aunt Carolyn).  We too had to enjoy the last warmish sunny day!
So 2015 is here . . . what fun can we have this year?  So much fun if you ask these two little guys!  Who knows what we will be up to this year!  School, sports, reading, crafts, hugs, laughs, movies, popcorn, painting, swimming, golf, Spanish, tennis, video games, homemade cookies, music, Legos, trains, Sunday School, birthdays: 365 days that we will spend together living life.  We can't wait for 2015!
