Post-Halloween Calm, Not for Us!

We slept in after our late Halloween night, then we had a full and fun Saturday planned.  Lincoln's final Ninjas soccer game was late morning.  We were all hoping for a win to finish out an undefeated season, and we did just that!!  Beau and Case have finally become friends at the end of the season, and they had fun playing with cars and a sword and trying to destroy a tree . . . crazy boys!!!!  They will likely be in the same Kindergarten room together, since Lincoln and Case's big brother (Canon) are together.  Sweet family and fun friends!
After soccer Daddy headed to work (all day and evening on a Saturday!!!), so we hit up NorthPark!  Lunch at Chick-fil-A was our first stop.
We paid a visit to the Lego store and didn't walk away empty-handed . . . no surprise there!  We found a clown show and stopped to watch and laugh.  NorthPark never disappoints!
A happy and huggy picture on the way out.  It was a successful trip to the mall, and the boys managed to get a cookie too!
We played at home for a while then met Nana and Pops for burgers at Shadys!  So yummy!  It was Movie Night, and the boys were loving their sleeping bags and the new TV in the playroom.  They watched The Lego Movie and an episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Happy guys!
Sunday was busy too.  Lincoln was bouncing and ninja-ing at Crawford's birthday party, and he had a blast!!!  There were so many fun friends there, and it was great fun for boys and Moms alike!
Lincoln and Canon posed for a sweet cheese before the cake was served.  Oh, the anticipation of cake . . .
And the cake didn't disappoint!  Mrs. Tara did an amazing job on the Emmitt cake, and it was delicious too.  Fun birthday party!
Lincoln worked on his new Lego set for a while, and we had a Sunday dinner of Italian Meatloaf and Parmesan Pasta and a few steamed carrots just to make it healthy.  We all cleaned our plates!
Lincoln is signed up for Basketball starting in December, and we are working on a few basic skills . . . .like dribbling and passing . . . and we will continue to work on those . . . even though he was surprisingly quick to learn!
Someone should be really tired at bedtime after such a fun and busy day, but someone was crafting in his room instead of sleeping.  Lincoln used a paper towel roll and his cut out hand to make an extended hand.  He was so proud!
Ten minutes later he reappears with an extended version of his extended hand thing.  Good work!
After another ten minutes he debuts his super ghostbuster gun grabber with a ghost "caught" by the hand and the barrel extended by a few extra paper towel rolls.  Crazy and genius!!
Linc finally admitted that he was tired at 10:45 and went to sleep.  The fun stays up late at the Kuhlmans, and we are always entertained by inventive and unexpected crafts.  Great weekend, for sure.
