Apparently our week was full of such regular stuff like school, practices, dinner, and homework because there aren't any fun pictures. But the weekend was going to be super busy and tons of fun. We celebrated Tyler's 1st birthday on Friday night. Sweet Tyler is Nick and Ellie's little brother, and all of our friend group loved playing together at his party. Happy Birthday Tyler Katsoulis!
Saturday morning was soccer, and the Ninjas were ready to play! Lincoln and Daddy had a moment to talk strategy!
As soon as soccer was done, we made a quick wardrobe change and headed to the first football game of the season. It was technically a scrimmage, but we are all realistic that any game is a game!!! Beau had some fun with the little brothers watching the game.
Team discussion with Coach JD and Coach Malachi to get ready for action. These Bowie Mustangs were excited to get started.
Lincoln made some awesome defensive plays, and he and Daddy hugged it out as the defense came off the field after Lincoln had grabbed another flag. Love this!
Go Bowie Mustangs!
The defense for this game took a breather in the shade while the offense got busy scoring another touchdown!
Lincoln started the "DE-FENSE" chant for a bit.
We won!!! Well, it was a scrimmage, remember? So there was not a winner, but we totally kept score!
Hannah's birthday party was after lunch at the club pool, and the kids braved the chilly water. Everyone has happy when it was cake time. That is the cutest face ever!
Two more of the cutest faces ever . . . Beau and Shayne enjoying their cake too. Lincoln says they are going to get married some day. If so, there will be lots of pictures to tell their love story!!!
Celebrating 1st birthdays wasn't over for us this weekend. We had fun at the Moody's for Evelyn's 1st birthday party. More fun times with great friends (and Minnie and Bubbles stood in for Evelyn's grandparents that couldn't be in town for the party).
It was a wonderful and busy Friday and Saturday, and kind of the way our life goes these days. We had the pleasure of Bubbles and Minnie's company this weekend, and they just went along with our crazy schedule! Pictures of that are next.
